We have started writing opinion stories, where we tell our opinion on a topic and give supporting reasons. Since we just finished up our dental health unit, we started working on opinions of why we think we would make the best Tooth Fairies. The kids filled out job applications, telling the reasons why they thought they should get the job. We turned those into a story and created a fairy to hang them on. I know most of you saw these at Parent Teacher Conferences, but I wanted to post a picture for those who missed them.
