H-Brother Super Hero Hunt!! :)

This was my first day back with the kiddos, after Miss Love finished teaching her unit. Oh, this was fun!! F.U.N.!! We were learning about digraphs in Word Study this week. I told the kids the story of the four H-Brothers. (They dress like super heroes. The SH brother really likes quiet & walks around saying "shhh." The TH brother is bad. He goes around sticking his tongue out spitting "th-h-h-h." The WH brother is always scared & walks around saying "wh-what, wh-wh-why, wh-wh-where.." The CH brother is the baby & is always pretending he's riding on a train "ch-ch-choo-choo." These brothers are super sneaky. They hide everywhere!) They were posted all around our classroom with different digraph words on their bellies. The kids were given a clipboard to sort & write the digraph words on when they found them..And of course, everyone needed a super hero mask to wear while they hunted!! This activity was definitely a hit! The kiddos had so much fun practicing reading their digraphs!
